A new take on nursery and sleep

Nurseries and sleep are as old as mankind itself. Stokke´s new take on these topics improves interaction and rest for both child and parents.

August/September 2007

As with the other products in the Stokke family – Tripp Trapp® and Stokke® Xplory® – nursery and sleep issues are subject to the same kind of scrutiny and slogan: In the best interests of your child™.

Size, height and good looks – on wheels

The expandable bed Stokke® Sleepi™, the changing table Stokke® Care™ and the storage system Stokke® Keep™ is a collection in its own right – uniting functionality and looks for three different product lines for the children's room.

A child will spend on average 25,000 hours asleep. Stokke® Sleepi™ is a small “nest” that starts out as a mini-cot with an oval shape, almost like mommy´s tummy. As the child grows, the cot easily transforms into a junior bed suitable for older children. As with Tripp Trapp® and Stokke® Xplory®, height is also an issue, and the bed is adjustable depending on the size of the child at any age. Wheels make it easy to move, both for moving the cot from one room to another and for movements meant to calm the child.

Size, height and maneuverability increase the childs comfort, safety, and relationship with the parent. Secondary, but still important: demands from the parents are met through practicality (adjustability and wheels), as well as good looks; in all positions the bed has soft, modern curves and a Scandinavian timeless and award-winning design (see “facts”).

Changing for the better

The changing table Stokke® Care™ continues with the values of Tripp Trapp®, Xplory® and Sleepi™: Height is a key issue. Since you can face your child at the changing table, interaction through eye contact and other communication is easier and more practical for the parents.

Keeping order

Practical and flexible storage is needed in every home. In the childrens room, this is more evident than anywhere else. The storage system Stokke® Keep™ is based on flexible modules designed to adapt to any interior or room size. As with all other products in the Stokke® collection, it adapts as your child grows and transitions through different stages of life.

Colors!

Sleepi™, Care™ and Keep™ come in five different colors: white, whitewash, natural, cherry and walnut.

Baskets

A new offer this fall is the Stokke® Basket™. The baskets – or rather baskets – come in cream and orange and complements the children's room furniture as mentioned above.
