The angle of a seat is important for your baby´s development. The spine and surrounding muscles are not yet fully developed and need the correct support. The newborn set provides a healthy seating angle of 38 degrees when attached to the Tripp Trapp® chair and it also provides firm side support. When the unit is placed on the floor, it has an angle of 20 degrees.

Babies develop their strength when lying flat on a play mat, either on their back or on their stomach. They use their own power to move and develop naturally. It is recommended that seating and reclining products should never be used for prolonged periods of time, including Stokke® products.
