Ethics, the environment, and the Code of Conduct
Since the very beginning, Stokke have been concerned with ethical practices and environmental issues in production, distribution and sales. A key to success with this in all parts of our value chain, is a Code of Conduct.
“The Core Values of Stokke support a strong commitment to economic, environmental and socially sustainable development. Stokke strongly believes it is in the mutual interest of both our self and our suppliers to meet the present and future requirements of our markets and society. This is done by demonstrating responsibility towards the people taking part in the manufacture of products or services, which enable Stokke to be a leading provider of children products”.
Stokke has for many years had this Code of Conduct and we require our suppliers to sign and comply with this.
Since 2006 we have also been a member of the Norwegian Ethical Trade Initiative. Through this membership we have committed ourselves to work for Ethical Trade.
