How to adjust your Tripp Trapp®

Height

The seat (A) is set at the correct height when the child’s elbows are at level with the table top (1). The foot plate (B) is set at the correct height when the sole of the foot can be rested on the foot plate, while the thighs are touching the seat.

Depth

The seat (A) is at the correct depth if it provides support for about 3/4 of the length of the thigh when the child’s back is resting against the backrest. In other words, there should be some space between the front edge of the seat and the child’s calf. The foot plate (B) is set at the correct depth when its front edge is aligned directly abovethe front edge of the chair (2). As a Guide the following positions can be used, however all children grow at different rates.
