  • Where is Scoot™ Basic kit produced?

    Stokke® has moved the production of Scoot™ basic kit from China to Hungary from 2016. Scoot™ basic kit is made in Hungary.

    All textiles are made in China.

  • Is the Stokke® Xplory® Seat compatible with the Stokke® Scoot™?

    No, the Stokke® Xplory®/Crusi™ Seat is not compatible with the Stokke® Scoot™ stroller chassis.
  • Which Stokke® stroller accessories can be used with the Stokke® Scoot™?

    Stokke® Scoot™ stroller is compatible with most Stokke® stroller accessories, such as the Sheepskin Lining, Changing Bag, Parasol, Cup Holder, and PramPack. The Stroller Foot Muff does not fit well on the Stokke® Scoot™. Instead we offer the Stokke® Scoot™ Softbag to keep your baby warm in the Stokke® Scoot™ stroller.
  • What is the differences of the new Scoot™ configuration?

    To enable more customization from Fall, 2016, Stokke® offers Scoot™ basic kit, chassis and seat, in basic colors and Scoot™ canopy in wide variety of colors as accessory.

    Consumer will pick the color of the seat base with Scoot™ Basic kit and then choose the preferred Scoot™ canopy color.

  • Are the components of the old Scoot™ compatible or interchangeable with the upgraded Stokke® Scoot™?

    The components, namely the chassis, seat and wheels of the older version of the Stokke® Scoot™ and the latest upgraded version Stokke® Scoot™ are not interchangeable. The seat on the current Stokke® Scoot™ is not to be used on the upgraded version, and vice versa.

  • What level of UV protection does the Stokke® Scoot™ canopy afford?

    The Stokke® Scoot™ canopy has a UV protection factor of 50+.
  • Why is there no bumper bar on the Stokke® Scoot™, like there is on the Stokke® Crusi™ and Xplory® strollers?

    Stokke® Scoot™ is an active stroller. It is easier for the child to get in and out of the stroller without a rail.
  • What is the weight limit for use of the Stokke® Scoot™?

    All markets apart from US and Canada is certified for a child up to 15 kg. 

    US and Canada are certified for a child up to 45 pounds/20.5kg.

    The shopping basket according to standard is certified up to 2 kg./4,4 pounds.

  • How should I maintain/clean the Stokke® Scoot™ textiles?

    Stokke® Scoot™ textiles must be washed separately!

    The canopy and visor can only be hand washed.  First unzip the visor and remove the front rib from the canopy. Wash the canopy and visor separately.
     
    Seat textiles can be machine washed at 40°C/ 104°F. The mosquito net can be machine washed at 30°C/ 86°F. The shopping basket and rain cover can only be wiped with a clean damp cloth, after which any excess water must be removed.

  • What are the Stokke® Scoot™ stroller measurements?

    When folded with seat, the measurements of the Stokke® Scoot™ are : H 32cm x L 72m cm x W 55 cm / H12,6" x L28,3" x W21,6".
    When expanded, with the handle in the its highest position, the measurements are H 111 cm x L 75 cm x W 55 cm / H43.7" x L29,5" x W21,6".

    The weight of the seat is 3.8 kg/8,4 lbs.
    Chassis weight is 9 kg/19,8 lbs.
    Total stroller weight is 12.8 kg/28,2 lbs.

     

  • Why is there no special transport bag for the Stokke® Scoot™?

    The Stokke® PramPack™ Concept is the ultimate transport solution for almost any stroller, including  of course the Stokke® Scoot™ with room to spare for other bulky items. A smaller transport solution just for the Stokke® Scoot™ would exclude most other strollers.
  • How can I get my Stokke® Scoot™ stroller serviced or damaged parts replaced?

    If your Stokke® Scoot™ is damaged, we kindly ask you to contact the shop where you originally purchased the product and provide them with information regarding the damage as well as the stroller's serial number. If it is inconvenient to contact the original retailer, you can also contact any other Stokke® retail partner for assistance. At the top of our website www.stokke.com, under 'Find your retailer', you can search for one nearest you.

    Depending on the type of problem, the retailer will be able either to order a replacement part on your behalf or to have the chair replaced in its entirety. Whether this can be done under the terms of Stokke® product warranty will depend on whether the claim is made within the warranty period, if it does not fall under the warranty period - costs may be incurred.

    Replacements for missing parts of the Stokke® Scoot™, such as wheels, can be ordered directly from your local Stokke® retailer. The details you enter in your registration must correspond to those on the original proof of purchase, both of which must be provided at your chosen authorized Stokke® retailer. You will also be asked for the serial number which can be found underneath Stokke® Scoot™. After completing the registration, the registration certificate will be sent to you via email. You can place your claim for replacement parts with the retailer producing both the registration certificate and the original proof of purchase.

  • Is the Stokke® Scoot™ suitable from birth?

    The Stokke® Scoot™ stroller can be used from birth even though it lacks a separate Carry Cot. The relevant European safety standard for strollers, EN 1888, specifies a minimum angle of 150° between seat bottom and backrest for it to be suitable for use from birth and the Stokke® Scoot™ Seat complies with this.
  • What newborn solutions do I have with Stokke® Scoot™?

    There are three options for newborn solutions that are suitable for Stokke® Scoot™: 1. For the best comfort of the child, we recommend Scoot™ Carry Cot. It is compatible with all models produced after Sep 2014 (after serial number 118AA0040583). 2. We also offer Scoot™ newborn insert if you do not go out with your newborn very often. It can be used in the Sleep position and comes with a detachable head support and feet support. It gives a good support to your baby and it is made of terry cloth. When the baby grows out of it, you can remove the head support and feet support and use it as a regular seat inlay. 3. Scoot™ Softbag is padded with a closed wind cover to protect newborns from harsh weather. It can be used in the Sleep position.

  • Can I fold Stokke® Scoot™ with Scoot® carry cot on it?

    No, please remove Scoot™ carry cot before you fold the Scoot™ chassis.

  • Does the Scoot™ canopy fit all Scoot™ V2 in the market?

    Yes, Scoot™ canopy fits to Scoot™ strollers that have been produced from Sep 2014. (from serial number 118AA0040583) Current Scoot™ users can buy Scoot™ canopy as an accessory.
  • Is it possible to use Scoot™ basic kit without Scoot™ canopy?

    The canopy provide protection to the child at it will therefore be require to purchase both the new Scoot™ Basic kit and at least one canopy from fall 2016.
  • What does the Scoot™ Basic kit include?

  • Is Scoot™ chassis the same as of the existing Scoot™ chassis?

    Yes, Stokke® has not changed the design of Scoot™ chassis. It still offers 3 rotation handle positions in use, foam filled rubber tires, spacious shopping baskets and compact to fold footprint.
  • Is Scoot™ seat the same as of the existing Scoot™ Seat?

    There is a new design on the Stokke® logo in the back of the seat.   Scoot™ seat still offers five-point harness protection, spacious seat space, two way facing possibilities and 3 reclining positions. (Active-Rest-Sleep)

  • Is Scoot™ canopy the same as of the existing canopy?

    The Scoot™ canopy has a new designed canopy and an extra-large extension in order to offer more protection to the child. The canopy keeps the ventilation function and adds one extra parts for extension

  • What age is recommended for the different seating angles?

    The product is suitable for children from birth and up to 15 kg.

    For newborn babies, it is recommended to use soft bag in the seat unit in full recline position.

    Babies over six months who can hold his/her head up can use any of the seat positions with hardness on.

  • How much weight does the shopping basket take?

    The Scoot™ basket is tested to carry max 2kg.
  • The rubber (above the break) on my Scoot™ has whitened, why has this happened?

    Stokke® is strongly against the use of materials containing chemicals that could be harmful for the child and parent.

    That is why Stokke® uses natural rubber on our wheels and on the Scoot™ break damper Natural rubber may “bloom” (whiten) as the natural rubber reacts to salt, sun, heat and humidity.

    Blooming is not harmful and it does not affect the stability and safety of the stroller. In most cases the blooming will disappear if applying silicon spray or any cooking oil (like olive oil) on to the white marks.

  • Why do I need to use the harness in Scoot™ and how do I use it with a sleeping bag?

    The harness should always be used to ensure a safe ride for the child.

    The Sleeping bags compatible with Scoot™ have space for the harness so the child can lay and sit safely in the strollers at all times. If not using the harness the child can slide down or climb out.

  • How long can I use the Scoot® carry cot™?

    The carry cot is suitable for children up to 9kg/20lbs.

  • Does Scoot® carry cot fit all Stokke Strollers?

    No, Scoot™ carry cot is designed only for Stokke® Scoot™ (from serial number 118AA0040583). It is not to be used with other Stokke® Strollers.
