Supply & Inventory Specialist in Norway

The Supply & Inventory Specialist manages the inventory at warehouses in America, Asia and Europe. This role is responsible for the planning and the coordination of goods flows between warehouses as well as direct deliveries from factories. In this position, you will support the launch of new products across Stokke’s supply chain and contributes to the continuous improvement of the supply chain efficiency. This is a temporary position, due to maternity leave, but with a strong possibility of direct hire after the 12-month period.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the replenishment of warehouses
  • Implement global Supply Chain strategies
  • Set up and maintain Stokke’s Inventory Management system and ERP system
  • Maintain Sales forecasts using statistical models
  • Secure an optimal communication with regional Supply Chain Managers, Category Managers and Sales Managers
  • Develop and improve processes and routines
  • Ensure supply chain efficiency in collaboration with the rest of the Supply Chain team
  • Participate actively in New Product Development projects and secure a high level of competence in the field of Supply Chain Management within the project group
  • Communicate Supply Chain related data to other parts of the organization

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master in Supply Chain Management or other relevant education
  • Some years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in working with Infor M3 or other ERP systems
  • Fluent English and Norwegian
  • Good competence in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills
