Is it normal for the surface of my Stokke® Table Top to exhibit marks and scratches after using it for some time?

The Stokke® Table Top is not scratch-proof. Its surface can be damaged with a hard or sharp object and scratches may appear on the surface after some time. This is considered a result of normal wear and tear of the product.
