We suggest to keep both pillows for the first 4 months. When the child is between 4-6 months the pillow placed under the insert can be removed. When the child is 6 months the pillow which is part of the baby insert can be removed as well.
There are three options for newborn solutions that are suitable for Stokke® Scoot™: 1. For the best comfort of the child, we recommend Scoot™ Carry Cot. It is compatible with all models produced after Sep 2014 (after serial number 118AA0040583). 2. We also offer Scoot™ newborn insert if you do not go out with your newborn very often. It can be used in the Sleep position and comes with a detachable head support and feet support. It gives a good support to your baby and it is made of terry cloth. When the baby grows out of it, you can remove the head support and feet support and use it as a regular seat inlay. 3. Scoot™ Softbag is padded with a closed wind cover to protect newborns from harsh weather. It can be used in the Sleep position.
As babies need to change their position regularly, we recommend keeping your child in the Stokke® MyCarrier for no more than 20 minutes in the beginning. You may gradually increase the time as your baby grows and develops.
In the box, the Stokke® Tripp Trapp® Newborn Set™ (0-6 months) measures 51 x 20 x 36 cm. and weighs 2.5 kg.
The dimensions of the product itself are as follows:
Outer shell: length 50.5 cm / width 35 cm / height 19.5 cm.
Inner seat: length ""head to toe"" 41 cm / max. depth (at center) 16 cm
The EU/UK Stokke® Tripp Trapp® Newborn Set is compatible with US Tripp Trapp® chairs.
However, it has not been certified for sale in the US due to differing standards and test methods from those in Europe. This implies that although the components between the Us and EU versions are interchangeable, they have not been approved by the United States Government.
• Place the waist belt high around your waist and tighten the waist belt and shoulder straps firmly.
• Position the attachment strap in one of the four loops at the same level as your armpit.
• Place your baby inside and adjust the attachment straps and the headrest to make sure your baby is well supported and comfortable. Your baby should now be positioned high up on your chest in the “kissing position” where you can easily kiss your baby’s head. Make sure to give your baby some space in the headrest to move a bit and breathe properly.
Yes. You can place the two Cradles towards each side of the bed with a space between.
Please note: This can only be done as long as the babies are small enough for the Stokke® Home™ Cradles. As soon as the children outgrow the Stokke® Home™ Cradle, we highly recommend one infant per bed.
The current ® Baby Set as well as the Newborn Set are compatible with all Tripp Trapp® chairs produced from May 2003. This corresponds to serial numbers starting with 3 or higher. The serial number and production date are printed on the bottom of the right side leg.
If you are unable to make out this information on your Tripp Trapp® chair, you can also measure the gap between the two back rest pieces: prior to May 2003, this measured approx. 2.5 cm, while on chairs since May 2003 it is approx. 3.5 cm. Chairs produced before May 2003 are not compatible with the current ® Baby Set and the Newborn Set. Earlier models of the Baby Set, with wooden rail, are unfortunately no longer available.
Experts recommend that a newborn be kept in a car seat for no more than 30 mins. at a time during the period from birth up to 3-4 months of age, as the tilted position may affect development of the spine as well as oxygen intake of the child.
The Stokke® iZi Sleep™ by BeSafe® car seat offers the additional advantage of an adjustable back rest, with the horizontal position meant to be used outside of the car. This means the Stokke® iZi Sleep™ by BeSafe®™ can be used as a carry cot to a limited extent, for about an hour at a time. After 4 months your baby will be able to sit up for longer periods and can be kept in the car seat for up to 2 hrs.
In general, we recommend always allowing the child short breaks when travelling for a longer period and keeping an eye on your child seated in the car seat as much as traffic allows.

The Stokke® MyCarrier has 3 positions
Front carrier – facing inwards From 4 weeks (minimum 3.5 kg /7.7 lb and 53 cm/21inch.) Babies need variation. We therefore recommend that you limit the time your newborn spends in Stokke® MyCarrier to 20 minutes in the beginning.
Front carrier - facing outwards For when your child can hold their head unaided. Every child is unique, but a rough guide is around 5 months. You may, of course, also continue to carry your baby facing inwards.
Back Carrier For when your child is 9 months and can sit unaided. At this time, you may begin using the back carrier. The seat can be adjusted when your child is approximately 18 months to ensure a better view.
The clear differences are customer preferences, features and accessories. Both highchairs employ excellent ergonomics and encourage the family to sit together from birth. The main differences are in features and accessories.
The Tripp Trapp® is a highchair that grows with the child, from birth to adulthood. The intelligent, adjustable design allows freedom of movement with both depth- and height adjustable seat- and footplates.
The Steps™ is an All-in-One modular seating system. It starts with a bouncer which can be used from birth separately or with the Stokke® Steps™ Chair. By simply attaching the bouncer onto the Stokke® Steps™ Chair, it becomes a highchair for your newborn allowing your baby to sit comfortably at the table. When your baby is older and can sit upright without assistance, the Stokke® Steps™ Baby Set transforms into a flexible highchair featuring an optional tray as well as an adjustable back and footrest for a custom fit. Later it can be used as children´s chair until approximately age 10 years of age.
