The Stokke® Bounce ‘n’ Sleep Daybed has been tested and approved to meet international safety and quality standards that apply to baby cribs and bassinette/moses baskets. It is therefore safe for overnight use during the first few months after birth.
Yes. You can place the two Cradles towards each side of the bed with a space between.
Please note: This can only be done as long as the babies are small enough for the Stokke® Home™ Cradles. As soon as the children outgrow the Stokke® Home™ Cradle, we highly recommend one infant per bed.
All Stokke® Textiles and Bedding Sets are 100% cotton or terry cloth and are fully machine washable at 40° Celsius/ 104° Fahrenheit.
The best way to maintain your Stokke® Home™ Bed, is to wipe it with a soft, damp clothe, afterwards wipe down with a dry clothe until completely dry.
Refrain from using a micro fiber cloth or household detergents as they may damage the finish of the crib.
If you choose to use a mattress for the Stokke® Bounce ‘n’ Sleep Daybed other than the one provided with the product, it is your responsibility to ensure the mattress is of the correct shape and size to cover the complete base surface of the Daybed, with gaps between the edge of the mattress and the side of the daybed not exceeding 4 cm./1.5 inches and the thickness of the mattress not exceeding 5 cm./ 2 inches. Failure to do so presents a suffocation hazard for the child.
The Stokke® Home™ Bed has been designed specifically to provide a sturdy bed for your child with excellent mattress support. It has been successfully tested to carry the maximum weight of 200 kg/ 450 lbs.
This means that it is strong enough for two adults to sit on, as they would a sofa. The weight limit has however been set to 50 kg for the occupant because the bed can withstand rough movements of a child of 50 kg, but an heavier child or an adult weighing much more could not do the same.”
The Stokke® Home™ Bed mattress is rectangular and 10 cm high or thick, 132 cm long and 70 cm wide.
Or 3,9 inches high/thick, 52 inches long and 27,5 inches wide.
There are three positions for the Stokke® Home ™ Bed Guard so you can choose your preferred room solution.

The tilted position of the bouncer is ideal for feeding (i.e. a 30 degree angle to avoid reflux). The reclined position provides optimal support and comfort for your baby to rest a while, but, due to differing safety standards, the Stokke® Bounce ‘n’ Sleep Bouncer does not replace a proper cot or bassinette.

The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress offers optimal support for the child’s body, with a foam density of 35 kg/m3 and 40% compression at 3.7 kPa. The mattress used for the Sleepi™ Junior is somewhat thicker, as it is meant for use by older and therefore heavier children. The type of foam used in the mattresses (polyurethane) is widely used in mattresses and the product fully complies with the latest European safety standards for baby cribs. The Stokke® Sleepi™ provides a balanced ventilation system through the design of the mattress, mattress cover and bottom. To ensure optimal air circulation, the bottom side of the mattress has a wavy pattern specially designed to remove excess body heat. The bottom side of the mattress cover is made of a mesh material and the plywood base supporting it has large openings, which further enhance air circulation. Together, these features keep your baby cool and help prevent the growth of fungus.
