Family friendly airline list
Over 50 airlines officially approve the BedBox™!
Below is a list of family friendly airlines, where you may use the BedBox™ sleeping function. The BedBox has been thoroughly assessed and approved by many major airlines. Airlines such as Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific are also selling the BedBox™.
Many airlines do not have a specific policy towards personal comforts devices like the BedBox™, but still allow its use. Therefore, we continuously aim to keep this list up to date, based on user feedback, our knowledge, and our communication with the relevant airline.
Depending on weather conditions and expected turbulence, even approved airlines may decide that it is not possible to use it onboard any given flight and this is unfortunately outside of our control. In general, it is best to contact the airline in advance to ask whether or not it might be possible to use the BedBox™ on a future flight to be completely sure and to avoid any confusion and disappointment onboard, in case the staff decides against it.
For use on aircrafts, the BedBox should only be used on window seats, or middle seats when there is a middle raw. This is to prevent blocking any exits for another passenger.
Note: When the bed feature of the BedBox is being used between two seat rows, the BedBox will stay secured in place.
For extra stability, and if the airline permits, the BedBox can be secured to the seat using the pulling strap. This is an optional step and does not affect safety in any way.
The BedBox should be stowed away during taxi, takeoff, turbulence, and landing.
Safety is our #1 priority. For more information about safety, proper use etc, feel free to visit our FAQ.
In all cases, please remember to always follow the Cabin Crew´s instructions and advice, use the seatbelt when seated, and enjoy a comfortable flight to wherever you are going!
