  • How should I clean the textiles and bedding in my Stokke® Sleepi™?

    Please look at the provided care instructions on the product care label for more detailed information. For all products before September 2022: All Stokke® Textiles and Bedding Sets are 100% cotton or terry cloth and are fully machine washable at 40° Celsius/ 104° Fahrenheit.

  • Can I iron my Stokke® Home™ textiles?

    All textiles can be ironed, except Stokke® Home™ Bed Protection Sheet. You will find this information on the care label attached on each product.

  • Is it possible to still buy Xplory® V1 & V2 textiles from Stokke®?

    Unfortunately the textiles for the V1 and V2 Stokke® Xplory® strollers are all completely sold out.

  • Can I remove the textile of the Stokke® Beat™ Carry Cot to wash it?

    Yes, you can remove the textile as well as mattress cover to wash them.

    The mattress foam can be handwashed and rinsed.

  • How do I remove and wash the Stokke® Beat™ Seat and Canopy textiles?

    You will need to remove the canopy and the canopy bow.

    The seat textiles need to be detached from the seat.

  • Why do I need to remove the cords and the bed bottom before removing the textile from the frame?

    Due to the weight of the bed bottom and tension the cords create we need to remove them before taking off the textile – otherwise the puller get’s too much tension and could potentially break.

  • How should I maintain the textiles of the Stokke® MyCarrier?

    Please note that the colour may initially run in the laundry so it is advisable to wash the carrier separately.

    Cotton version: colour will fade over time as a result of washing. Most stains can be removed with a damp cloth.

    When you do decide to wash the carrier textiles, please follow the washing instructions on the care label:

    Wash at 40°C. Remove the aluminium bars before washing. Use detergent without bleach. Gently spin-dry. Stretch when wet to keep original shape. Dry flat at room temperature, away from sunlight or direct heat. DO NOT tumble dry or iron.

  • I noticed little black spots on my Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress cover after washing. Are these harmful?

    It is common to find dark particles in unbleached cotton, which has not undergone heavy chemical treatment. They are in fact remaining bits of the cotton seed coat. They can be considered proof of a natural material and are perfectly safe. All Stokke® Sleepi™ textiles including the mattress cover fulfill the highest Oeko Tex Standards for organic fabrics.

  • How should I maintain/clean the Stokke® Scoot™ textiles?

    Stokke® Scoot™ textiles must be washed separately!

    The canopy and visor can only be hand washed.  First unzip the visor and remove the front rib from the canopy. Wash the canopy and visor separately.
     
    Seat textiles can be machine washed at 40°C/ 104°F. The mosquito net can be machine washed at 30°C/ 86°F. The shopping basket and rain cover can only be wiped with a clean damp cloth, after which any excess water must be removed.

  • Are any harmful substances used in the wooden or textile components of the Stokke® Sleepi™ range?

    At Stokke®, quality and safety are the main concern and we take great care in ensuring all our products meet current international safety standards for baby and children`s products.

    All Stokke® Sleepi™ wooden components are manufactured from cultivated beech, which makes them strong, solid and durable. The preservation of the environment is very important to Stokke®, therefore, we strictly adhere to responsible wood sourcing and processing from European forests.

    The lacquers used for the Stokke® Sleepi™ fully comply with the prevailing safety standard EN 71 - 3, "European Standard, Safety for toys, Migration of certain elements/Toxic Heavy Metals". Furthermore, the lacquer is completely free of formaldehyde.

    All Stokke® Nursery Textiles are approved by the International Oeko-Tex Association and certified according to Standard 100 by Oeko-tex, product class I which means they are free from harmful substances.

  • How should the Stokke® iZi Go™ textiles be maintained/cleaned?

    The Stokke® iZi Go™ head rest and seat textile can be machine washed at 40°C/ 104°F.
    The canopy can be wiped of with a damp cloth, or hand washed after disassembly.

  • How should the Stokke® Crusi™ stroller textiles be maintained/cleaned?

    The Stokke® Crusi™ Carry Cot cover, Canopy (hood) and visor should be hand washed. The outer lining can be wiped with a damp cloth, the inner lining and mattress cover can be machine washed at 40° C.

  • How do I wash the textiles of the Xplory® X seat and carry cot?

    Please follow the disassemble and washing instructions from the user guide and maintain the stroller on a regular basis with regular cleanings. Prior to cleaning, make sure your remove excess sand, grid, or mud. In the user guide you can find what parts are machine washable, hand washable and what parts must be wiped with a damp cloth. Use a mixture of water and mild soap.

  • What should I do if food or drinks are spilt on my Stokke® Xplory® stroller?

    Unlike other conventional strollers, all Stokke® Xplory® fabrics and textiles are easily removed as well as being fully machine washable at 40°Celsius/ 104° Fahrenheit.

  • What should I do if food or drinks are spilt on my Stokke® Crusi™ stroller?

    Unlike other conventional strollers, all Stokke® Stroller and Crusi™ fabrics and textiles are easily removed as well as being fully machine washable at 40°Celsius/ 104° Fahrenheit.

  • How do I clean the car seat?

    Hard parts

    The car seat hard parts and harness should be cleaned using a mild mixture of water with soap. Make sure that any sand/mud/grit is removed prior to cleaning.

    Textiles

    Must be washed separately! Head rest and seat textile can be machine washed at 40°C/104°F. Canopy and visor must be hand washed. Remove the visor and the front rib from the canopy before washing. See the user guide and care labels for further instructions.

  • What is recommended for the care of the Crew BackPack?

    We recommend that you water-proof the Crew BackPack, this helps the textiles retain their water-repellent function, in addition to retaining the color of the fabric better.

  • Are the BABYZEN YOYO fabrics compatible with all YOYO frames?

    Yes! The YOYO 6+ fabrics are compatible with all YOYO frames. Textiles in the newborn pack and the bassinet are only compatible with frames equipped with a reversible backrest.

  • Is there any compatibility of the Mattress/Fitted sheets/Mesh Liner for the Stokke® Snoozi™ and Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini V3?

    Stokke® Snoozi™ and Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini V3 are not compatible with each other, meaning textiles like Mattress, Protection sheet or Fitted Sheets are not compatible in between those 2 products due to different sizes of the products.

  • Can I upgrade my V1 or V2 Stokke® Xplory® stroller with a V3 Style Kit (upholstery set)?

    All Stokke® products grow with the child and are created to last for a long time. Stokke® therefore always tries to make every new product in the range as adaptable as possible to the existing collection. It is, however, not always technically feasible to do so. The seat of the V3 Xplory® stroller (launched in 2010) was adapted to allow the new textiles to cover it on all sides. Unfortunately, this also means that the new V3 Xplory® textiles will not fit on the earlier model Xplory® seat. The complete new Xplory® V3 seat (with upholstery) however will fit perfectly on the chassis of the previous model.

  • Are all Stokke® Xplory® Seats and carry cots compatible with all frames regardless of model and country version?

    All Stokke® Xplory® seats and carry cots are compatible with all Xplory® frames from version V3 onwards, regardless of the country version or model. However, keep in mind that through the years visual changes have been made and there might be colour deviations in the plastics, leatherettes, and textiles.

  • Is Sleepi a safe Sleeping solution ?

    Yes, the Sleepi Bed and Textiles are developed with highest saftey standards and testing to provide a safe sleep solution for your baby :

    Bed :
    Bar bed design is providing an optimal airflow in the crib.

    Textiles :
    Firm and breathable mattress to minimize the risk of suffocation and CO2-Retention. ​The Mattress has a tight fit to the bed which is minimizing the risk of entrappment between bed and mattress​. Mesh Mattress protection cover with excellent breathabilty properties giving a safer choice than an ordinary Protective sheet.
    Canopy is surrounding the Drape rod completely to have a safe attachement and the baby is not able to remove or drag the fabric into the crib. ​Canopy should be always attached to the bed for more safety. Short cords are also there for more safety and reduced risk on strangulation. ​
    Mesh Liner keeps baby’s arms and legs safely in the crib.​
    To prevent strangulation and suffocation, breathable transparent 3D mesh is used as the main textile optimal airflow. Anti-Slide velcro attachements holding the mesh liner safely in place and can not be removed by the baby. The Mesh liner should be always used in the highest position

  • How can I clean the Stokke® Snoozi™?

    The frame and wooden elements are easy to wipe clean with wipes or a soft damp cloth while the main textile element is machine washable at 40 degrees Celsius. The mattress cover can be easily machine washed at 40 degrees Celsius while the mattress core can be rinsed in the shower.​

  • How to attach the Canopy?

    Start sliding in the middle canal of the Canopy on to the Drape rod.
    Attach the Canopy with the ribbons on the back.
    Then Attach the ribbons on the bottom of the Sleepi on the middle part.

    Please note that the Canopy should be maximum cover half of the Bed as the airflow should not be hindered. Always Attach the ribbons on the Bed so that the baby cannot drag the Canopy into the crib.

  • Why do I need a mattress protector?

    The Mattress Protector is made exclusively to fit the unique shape of the Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini and bed, this innovative sheet protects your little roommate´s mattress from those inevitable accidents and messy spills. Waterproof, it prevents liquids from being absorbed by the mattress to help maintain a fresh, clean place for your baby to sleep & dream. 3D mesh ensures optimal airflow and best of all, it´s machine washable.

  • Why is a breathable mattress so important?

    A breathable mattress ensures that the air can circulate and remove the carbon dioxide exhaled by the baby. In this way, overheating is avoided. This is especially important when the little ones turn over onto their stomachs while sleeping and breathe into the mattress. ​
    The Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini mattress is made with multiple layers of breathable 3D mesh with a Sorona® Bicomponent Stretch fiber core to offer firmness, maximal airflow and to exceed the highest safety standards.

  • Why is a firm mattress so important?

    To reduce the risk of suffocation and CO2 Retention, Pedriatrics recommend the baby should sleep on his/her back on a firm mattress.
    A soft surface may conform to the shape of the baby’s head and increase the risk that the baby breathe in his/her own exhaled breath (carbon dioxide).
    The Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini mattress is made with multiple layers of breathable 3D mesh with a Sorona® Bicomponent Stretch fiber core to offer firmness, maximal airflow and to exceed the highest safety standards.

  • How do I assemble and use the Stokke® bumpers correctly?

    Always make sure the bumper is fixed correctly and tightly to avoid sagging. Check frequently that all the bumper ties are firmly tied to the crib rails. Please re-tie if necessary. 
    To ensure optimum airflow, always ensure the child is not sleeping with their face in direct contact with the bumper. 
    Remove the bumper when the child can sit unaided or pull themselves up to a standing position.

  • What standards do the Stokke® Mesh Liner comply with ?

    The standards the Stokke® Mesh Liner comply with are:

    • ASTM F1917-12 – “Infant Bedding and Related Accessories” ASTM F1917-20ε1 Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Infant Bedding and Related Accessories
    • The above standards specifically aim to ensure safe design and sufficient care instructions for safe and proper use of a Mesh liner
    • Stokke® Mesh Liner have been tested for CO2 retention and results show no increase of CO2 in the crib environment.
    • Stokke® Mesh Liner is designed with specific dimensions and breathable materials to ensure optimum air flow.

  • How do I assemble and use the Stokke® Mesh Liner correctly?

    Made exclusively to fit the unique shape of the Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini or bed, our liner is both breathable, soft and beautiful. The modern 3D mesh fabric provides optimal airflow for a safe sleep. ​

    • Start with the seam parallel to the Bed end
    • Attach the Velcro straps to the crib rails going around

  • What are Sorona® Bicomponent Stretch fibers ?

    The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress core (Launched September 2022) is made of​ 40% Sorona® Bicomponent Stretch fibre which is made from bio-polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) obtained from the fermentation of glucose of corn seeds. Because Sorona® polymer is partially plant based, it reduces reliance on fossil-based materials. The revolutionary Bio-PDO compound turns a formerly chemical process into an eco-efficient biological one.
    The Material is also naturally fire retardant, breathable and provides a firm mattress surface.
    Sorona® fiber has undergone stringent testing and has been proven to be safe for use by adult products with direct, prolonged skin contact, earning it Class l certification from Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®. Sorona® renewably sourced fiber is one of the first 11 products approved as part of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred Program for certified bio-based products.

  • What are the measurements of the Stokke® Sleepi™ mattresses?

  • How is the Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress to be washed?

    Mattress from August 2022 ( Cover: 100% Polyester, Filling: 40% elasterell-p / 60% Polyester)

    The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress cover can be washed at Max 60°C/140ºF. Do not bleach or dry clean. Make sure to stretch it to size while still wet. Do NOT use a tumble dryer. The Core out of Sorona® Bicomponent Stretch fibers and Polyester (40% elasterell-p / 60% Polyester) should be rinsed with water and dry flat.

    Mattress before September 2022 (100% Cotton Cover and PU foam core):

    The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress cover can be hand washed at 40 °C. Make sure to stretch it to size while still wet. Do NOT use a tumble dryer. The foam filling can be hand washed at 60 °C and/or rinsed with warm water. As for the Stokke® Sleepi™ Cocomat, the outer mattress cover is removable and machine washable at 60°C. We recommend the use of protection sheets in case of little spills or accidents. In such cases, quickly remove and wash outer covers. Inner materials dry quickly when aired and must not be machine washed.

  • What are the weight and dimensions of the Stokke® Xplory® stroller?

    In the box, the Stokke® Xplory® (chassis and seat incl. textiles) weighs 17.8 kg and measures 99 x 60 x 40 cm. The Stokke Xplory® Carry Cot, which is packed separately, weighs 5.3 kg and measures 87 x 42 x 23 cm.
    If you want to know whether the chassis will fit the trunk of your car when folded, the dimensions are as follows:

    Length 105 cm
    Height 30 cm
    Max. Width (between axes) 55 cm

     

  • How should I clean and maintain my Stokke® Home™ Cradle?

    Stokke® Home™ Cradle may be cleaned and maintained in the following way:

    • Remove all textiles, including the mattress and machine wash at 40° Celsius/ 104° Fahrenheit.
    • Do not tumble dry.

    To clean the wood stand: wipe it with a soft, damp (not wet!) cloth, then wipe it down with a dry cloth until completely dry.

    Refrain from using a micro fibre cloth or household detergents as they may damage the finish of the cradle. Colours may change if the wood is exposed to the sunlight.

  • How can I transfer the Canopy from the Xplory® X Seat to Carry cot?

    Please follow the instructions from the user guide. Fully open the attachment zipper. Use a key, screwdriver, or something alike to push down the pin from the inside of the hood mount bracket to release the canopy from the seat. Do this on both sides. Place the hood mount brackets including the canopy on the carry cot. You know it is placed right when you hear it click. Close the zipper and fold back the textile.

  • Can I get more detailed information about the Stokke® Sleepi™ mattresses?

    A mattress where they´ll sleep like a baby. For optimal safety and comfort, it´s important that a baby mattress is high-quality, firm and breathable. ​ A breathable mattress ensures that the air can circulate and remove the carbon dioxide exhaled by the baby. In this way, overheating is avoided. This is especially important when the little ones turn over onto their stomachs while sleeping and breathe into the mattress. ​

    The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress is made with multiple layers of breathable 3D mesh with a Sorona® Bicomponent Stretch fiber core to offer firmness, maximal airflow and to exceed the highest safety standards.​ Both the core and cover can easily be removed for washing. Cover is machine washable at 60º Celsius and core can be cleaned by rinsing. Comes with a wide range of coordinating protection covers and sheets.

    Mattress before September 2022 (100% Cotton Cover and PU foam core): The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress offers optimal support for the child’s body, with a foam density of 35 kg/m3 and 40% compression at 3.7 kPa. The mattress used for the Sleepi™ Junior is somewhat thicker, as it is meant for use by older and therefore heavier children. The type of foam used in the mattresses (polyurethane) is widely used in mattresses and the product fully complies with the latest European safety standards for baby cribs. The Stokke® Sleepi™ provides a balanced ventilation system through the design of the mattress, mattress cover and bottom. To ensure optimal air circulation, the bottom side of the mattress has a wavy pattern specially designed to remove excess body heat. The bottom side of the mattress cover is made of a mesh material and the plywood base supporting it has large openings, which further enhance air circulation. Together, these features keep your baby cool and help prevent the growth of fungus.

    The Sleepi™ Cocomat is the certified fully organic alternative mattress to go with the Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini and Bed. It consists of organic coconut husk fibre (80%) and lambswool (20%), with covers of unbleached cotton. It has outstanding ventilation and insulation qualities which helps regulate your baby's body temperature, along with anti-dust mite qualities.

  • How do the two models of the Stokke® Care™ Changing Table differ and do current accessories fit the earlier model?

    The Stokke® Care™ Changing Table was originally introduced in 2001, followed in 2009 by the release of the current model. There are a few noteworthy differences between the models. The previous model had caster wheels which are not present on the current model, but the latter was fitted with additional textile storage baskets. The size differs somewhat, with the new model being somewhat narrower than the original one. Accessories for the original model Care™ are no longer available. The current mattress and storage baskets can be used on the 2001 model, but please note they do not present a perfect fit, leaving space on either side due to the difference in dimensions between the two models.
