Stokke® Crusi™

Customer Service

  • Why does the Stokke® Crusi™ not have Car Seat Adaptors?

Car seat adapters, such as those available for the Stokke® Xplory® stroller, are not available for the Stokke® Crusi™ stroller. The reason for this is that the car seat brands which are compatible with Stokke® car seat adapters have harnesses exposed at the back side.  This would present a safety concern when such a car seat is used in the sibling configuration of the Stokke® Crusi™ stroller, as the child seated in the lower seat could grab on to the car seat harness.

As a car seat solution for the Stokke® Crusi the Stokke® iZi Go™ or iziSleep™ car seats are available. The harnesses on these models are concealed and safe for use when a child is seated below it in the Crusi™ Sibling Seat. Everything we do is in the best interest of the child and sometimes that does pose limits to the compatibility of our products with products or product components from other manufacturers.

  • Are the textiles interchangeable (Xplory®, Crusi™, Scoot™, Trailz)?

The textiles are interchangeable between the Xplory®, Crusi™ and Trailz™ Seats (Stokke® Stroller Seat) as the Seat models are fully compatible and similar in dimensions. The textiles for the Scoot are not interchangeable or compatible with any of the Seats and/or Carry Cots of the Xplory®, Crusi™ and Trailz™.

  • Can I use the Stokke® Stroller Carry Cot overnight, as a substitute for a crib/bassinette?

Stokke® Strollers are designed and tested to meet a different set of standards than those for baby cribs/moses baskets, in terms of breathability and support; and the Stokke® Stroller Carry Cot, though safe and comfortable, was not designed for overnight use. We therefore recommend against it.
  • How should I clean my Stokke® Crusi™ from dirt, mud, and outdoor elements?

The chassis and wheels of Stokke® Crusi™ clean easily, removing dirt, mud, and other outdoor elements simply with a damp cloth without the need for detergents or other cleaning chemicals.

  • What should I do if food or drinks are spilt on my Stokke® Crusi™ stroller?

Unlike other conventional strollers, all Stokke® Stroller and Crusi™ fabrics and textiles are easily removed as well as being fully machine washable at 40°Celsius/ 104° Fahrenheit.

  • How can I get my Stokke® Crusi™ stroller serviced or damaged parts replaced?

If your Stokke® Crusi™ is damaged, we kindly ask you to contact the shop where you originally purchased the product and provide them with information regarding the damage as well as the stroller's serial number. If it is inconvenient to contact the original retailer, you can also contact any other Stokke® retail partner for assistance.

At the top of our website www.stokke.com, under 'Find your retailer', you can search for one nearest you. Depending on the type of problem, the retailer will be able either to order a replacement part on your behalf or to have the chair replaced in its entirety. Whether this can be done under the terms of Stokke® product warranty will depend on whether the claim is made within the warranty period, if it does not fall under the warranty period - costs may be incurred.

For more information on Stokke® product warranty and how to register your Stokke® Crusi™ stroller for Extended Warranty (3 years after the date of purchase), please follow this link: http://w.stokke.com/#/

Replacements for missing parts of the Stokke® Crusi™, such as wheels, can be ordered directly from your local Stokke® retailer. The details you enter in your registration must correspond to those on the original proof of purchase, both of which must be provided at your chosen authorized Stokke® retailer. You will also be asked for the serial number which can be found underneath Stokke® Crusi™. After completing the registration, the registration certificate will be sent to you via email. You can place your claim for replacement parts with the retailer producing both the registration certificate and the original proof of purchase.

You can also contact any other Stokke® retail partner for assistance in this matter. You can search for your nearest one via the link below: http://www.stokke.com/global/home#findstore

  • Does the Stokke® Stroller parasol protect the baby against UV rays?

The parasol sold with the Stokke® Stroller has been tested by an independent testing institute for the level of UV protection it affords and it was found to have an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 50, which is classified as "Excellent Protection". However, it is still recommended to avoid exposing young children to direct sunlight for extended periods.

  • Are the Stokke® Crusi™ Carry Cot and Seat the same as those of Stokke® Xplory®?

The seat used for Stokke® Crusi™ is  identical to the one used for Stokke® Xplory®  . Their respective Carry Cots, however, are different and not interchangeable.
  • What are the age and weight limits for use of the Stokke® Crusi™?

The Stokke® Crusi™ stroller can be used up to the approx. age of 3 years.

The weight limit for the Carry Cot is 9kg /20 lbs. A general indication is that the Stokke® Crusi™ Carry Cot can only be used until the child is able to sit up unaided.

The weight limit for the regular seat and Sibling Seat is 15 kg / 33 lbs or until the child reaches a height of 95 cm/37.5’’.

  • How should the Stokke® Crusi™ stroller textiles be maintained/cleaned?

The Stokke® Crusi™ Carry Cot cover, Canopy (hood) and visor should be hand washed. The outer lining can be wiped with a damp cloth, the inner lining and mattress cover can be machine washed at 40° C.
  • Can Stokke® Crusi™ be fitted with a Carry Cot and a Sibling Seat, or with two Sibling seats at the same time?

The Stokke® Stokke® Crusi™ can be fitted with a combination of the Carry Cot and Sibling Seat, the regular seat and Sibling Seat, or a combination of either the Stokke® iZi Sleep™ or Stokke® iZi Go™ car seat and the Sibling Seat . It is not possible to fit the Stokke® Crusi™ with 2 Sibling Seats.
  • Is the Stokke® Stroller Seat suitable from birth?

The relevant European safety standard for strollers, EN 1888, specifies a minimum angle of 150° between seat bottom and backrest for it to be suitable for use from birth.

The Stokke® Xplory® /Crusi™/Trailz Seat does not comply with this specification, which is why, in the EU, it is not accepted for use under the age of 6 months. In the UK, however, a different standard applies which does not include the above requirement and therefore the Stokke® Stroller Seat (for Stokke® Xplory® /Crusi™ /Trailz™) is deemed suitable for use from birth in the UK.

  • Can the Stokke® Crusi™ be fitted with a sibling board?

No. It has a sibling seat.
  • Can I use my old Stokke® Xplory® seat on the Stokke® Crusi™ chassis?

The Stokke® Crusi™ chassis is compatible with all Stokke® Xplory® and Crusi™ seats, even those of earlier Stokke® Xplory® models. However, when using seats of earlier Stokke® Xplory® models in combination with the Stokke® Crusi™ Sibling Seat, only seats with serial numbers 280000 or higher have been adapted and can be used in the sibling solution.
  • How many seating positions does Stokke® Crusi™ offer?

Stokke® Crusi™ offers 3 parent facing and two forward facing positions.
  • I have a Crusi™ chassis, can I buy the new classic and the new terrain wheels for my Crusi™ chassis?

The new wheel sets, both Classic wheels and Terrain wheels, are not compatible with Crusi™, they are designed to the Trailz™ Chassis.

However, Crusi™ wheels will continue to be available as a spare part until fall 2019.

  • Can I buy the terrain wheels and the classic wheels to my Crusi™ chassis?

No, the classic wheel set, despite the same material and look as of Crusi™ current wheels, does not fit Crusi™ chassis. The Trailz™ terrain wheels are also not compatible with Crusi™ chassis.
  • Why have Stokke® decided not to sell Crusi™ Chassis anymore?

Stokke® has been listening to consumer feedbacks on their experiences and expectations for our products .

The two key improvement areas for Crusi™ are 1) Crusi™ users wants to have a rotation handle and 2) Crusi™ users would like to have more storage space for the shopping basket.

These improvement areas lead us to Trailz™ chassis with Classic wheels. From Oct/Nov, 2016, Stokke® will stop selling Crusi™ Chassis (apart from Korea and China) and offer Trailz™ with two wheel options. Classis wheel options are the same type of wheels we have used in Crusi™.

For consumer who does not have all terrain wheel needs, Trailz™ with classic wheels offers the same ride comfort as of Crusi™ with upgraded rotation handle and a 10kg capacity shopping basket. (Crusi™ chassis is with telescope handle and 5 kg capacity shopping basket)
