The Stokke® car seat adaptors are compatible with Xplory® strollers with serial numbers 24771 and up.
Earlier models cannot be upgraded to fit the car seat adapters. Our own Stokke® iZi Sleep™ by BeSafe® car seat, which was launched in 2010 and which is especially adapted to be mounted directly on the chassis of the Stokke® Xplory® stroller without the need for adapters, can be used on any Stokke® Xplory® chassis, regardless of the model or year of production.

The Stokke® Xplory® stroller was not originally designed to be used with a sibling board, simply because it did not exist at the time. In response to customer feedback over the first years our product development team worked hard to come up with an add-on solution that would not compromise the safety or stability of the stroller. They found that this could only be achieved by modifying the chassis in a way which cannot be carried out retroactively, on earlier Stokke® Xplory® strollers.
The Stokke® Xplory® Sibling Board was only introduced in October 2009 and it is therefore only compatible with Stokke® Xplory® strollers produced from that date on. To be more precise, it will fit on Stokke® Xplory® strollers with serial number 113464 and above. It goes without saying that it fits on all strollers of the new V3 model, launched in 2010.
The Stokke® Xplory® sheepskin accessories are natural products. Stokke® has chosen to use natural sheepskin over possible artificial alternatives because of its superior looks, as well as its insulating, breathing, antistatic and even self-cleaning properties. It does, however, require special care to be kept in prime condition.
In principle, it is no problem for the fur to get wet, as it will resume its original shape when dried properly. However, we recommend to always use the stroller's rain cover in case of rain or snow, to protect all of the stroller's upholstery, as well as your baby, from the elements.
Natural sheep's wool does not need to be washed as frequently as regular fabrics, as it naturally contains lanolin (sheep wax), which gives it waterproofing and disinfecting qualities. Washing the fur too often would actually reduce these qualities in the product. It is often sufficient to clean the fur with a damp cloth. Regular brushing (a pet brush with thin metal bristles works best) and shaking will also help to keep it in good shape.
When you do decide to wash it, make sure to follow the instructions on the care label closely. Wash the product separately and never soak the material for an extended period. Only use wool mix detergents which do not contain enzymes or bleach. Any other types of detergent, even those for delicate materials, will change the properties and colour of the material and induce shrinkage. Hand wash in cold water (max 30° C). Spin on gentle cycle to remove excess water. After washing, hand-stretch and shake the fur while drying it on a flat surface at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight. Applying a direct source of heat (such as a blow dryer) to the fur will alter its texture and look.
Stokke® cannot accept damage to these products due to improper maintenance as grounds for complaints.
