The rubber (above the break) on my Scoot™ has whitened, why has this happened?
Stokke® is strongly against the use of materials containing chemicals that could be harmful for the child and parent.
That is why Stokke® uses natural rubber on our wheels and on the Scoot™ break damper Natural rubber may “bloom” (whiten) as the natural rubber reacts to salt, sun, heat and humidity.
Blooming is not harmful and it does not affect the stability and safety of the stroller. In most cases the blooming will disappear if applying silicon spray or any cooking oil (like olive oil) on to the white marks.
