Posso iniziare ad usare la seduta del passeggino Stokke ® Xplory ® anche se mio figlio non ha ancora compiuto 6 mesi?

"The Stokke® Xplory® stroller seat has been approved in the EU for use from the age of 6 months, so this is what we recommend. In the UK the Xplory seat is certified suitable from birth with the use of the baby wedge, due to differing standards. It is, however, up to individual parents to decide what is suitable for their child. In general, babies at this age should lie on a horizontal surface as much as possible, to offer optimal support to the spine and to facilitate breathing. Stokke® Xplory® stroller seat does recline to a near-vertical position and there is no specific reason not to use it for babies under 6 months. It is vitally important to make sure that the child is able to support its head. In any case, children to the age of approximately 6 months should not be kept in a pram for extended periods."

La seduta del passeggino Stokke® Xplory® è stata approvata nell'Unione Europea per l'uso a partire dai 6 mesi, questo é pertanto quello che raccomandiamo. Nel Regno Unito l´uso della seduta del passeggino Stokke® Xplory® con il riduttore é approvato fin dalla nascita. Si tratta tuttavia di una scelta dei singoli genitori, decidere che cosa è adatto per il loro bambino. In generale, i bambini di questa fascia di età dovrebbero rimanere il più possibile su una superficie piana, per offrire un sostegno ottimale alla colonna vertebrale e per facilitare la respirazione. Tuttavia la seduta si può reclinare fino ad una posizione quasi verticale e non vi è alcuna ragione specifica per non usare la seduta prima dei 6 mesi. É importante assicurarsi che il bambino sia in grado di sostenere autonomamente la testa. In ogni caso, i bambini di circa 6 mesi non devono essere tenuti a lungo in alcuna carrozzina o passeggino.
