The caster wheels which come with the Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini and Bed can only be used up to the stage when the side panel of the Sleepi™ Bed is removed to allow the child unaided access to the bed. Mattress from August 2022 ( Cover: 100% Polyester, Filling: 40% elasterell-p / 60% Polyester) The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress cover can be washed at Max 60°C/140ºF. Do not bleach or dry clean. Make sure to stretch it to size while still wet. Do NOT use a tumble dryer. The Core out of Sorona® Bicomponent Stretch fibers and Polyester (40% elasterell-p / 60% Polyester) should be rinsed with water and dry flat. Mattress before September 2022 (100% Cotton Cover and PU foam core): The Stokke® Sleepi™ mattress cover can be hand washed at 40 °C. Make sure to stretch it to size while still wet. Do NOT use a tumble dryer. The foam filling can be hand washed at 60 °C and/or rinsed with warm water. As for the Stokke® Sleepi™ Cocomat, the outer mattress cover is removable and machine washable at 60°C. We recommend the use of protection sheets in case of little spills or accidents. The Stokke® Stroller Seat for Trailz has been approved in the EU for use from the age of 6 months, so this is what we recommend. In the UK the Stokke® Stroller Seat is certified suitable from birth with the use of the baby wedge, due to differing standards. It is, however, up to individual parents to decide what is suitable for their child. In general, babies at this age should lie on a horizontal surface as much as possible, to offer optimal support to the spine and to facilitate breathing. Stokke® Stroller Seat does recline to a near-vertical position and there is no specific reason not to use it for babies under 6 months.
