What are the differences between the Stokke® iZiSleep™ and Stokke® iZi Go™ car seats?

Both car seats are designed for superior comfort and safety. The main differences are in the size and weight, with Stokke® iZi Go™ being lighter and more compact than iZiSleep™. Stokke® iZi Go™ is also compatible with all Stokke® strollers, while iZiSleep™ cannot be used together with the Stokke® Scoot™ stroller. iZiSleep™, on the other hand, has a unique feature of a reclinable back rest when used outside of the car, allowing for extra comfort and the possibility to keep the child in the seat for longer than the generally recommended maximum of two hours. The latter also results in a higher UV protection factor of 50 for the iZiSleep™ canopy, whereas that of Stokke® iZi Go™ has a UV factor of 15. Finally, the colour options differ between the two car seats. The iZiSleep™ seat unit comes in a single colour, Dark Navy, with a choice of canopy in most of the colours from the Stokke® stroller range. The Stokke® iZi Go™, conversely, comes in most of the colour varieties from the Stokke® stroller collection, but with a canopy in a single, neutral colour, namely grey.

Is the Stokke® iZi Go™ car seat compatible with all Stokke® strollers?

Yes, the Stokke® iZi Go™ car seat is compatible with all Stokke® strollers: Stokke® Xplory®, Stokke® Crusi™ and Stokke® Scoot™.

Please note that the Stokke® iZi Go™ by Besafe® can be attached to Xplory starting with serial number 24770 and above.

Is there a separate isofix base for the Stokke® iZi Go™ car seat?

Yes, there is an optional isofix base especially for the Stokke® iZi Go™ car seat.

How should the Stokke® iZi Go™ textiles be maintained/cleaned?

The Stokke® iZi Go™ head rest and seat textile can be machine washed at 40°C/ 104°F.
The canopy can be wiped of with a damp cloth, or hand washed after disassembly.

What are the age and weight limits for use of the Stokke® iZi Go™ car seat?

The Stokke® iZi Go™ car seat can be used from birth up to a maximum weight of 13 kg, or when the child´s head or feet reach over the edge.

Is the Stokke® iZi Go™ car seat available in all colours of the Stokke® stroller collection?

The Stokke® iZi Go™ seat unit is available in most Stokke® stroller colours. Please note, however, that the canopy comes only in a single, neutral colour: grey.

What level of UV protection does the Stokke® iZi Go™ canopy afford?

The Stokke® iZi Go™ canopy has a UV factor of 15. As a child is only meant to be kept in a car seat for an absolute maximum of 2 hours, a UV factor of 15 is adequate.
